Synopsis for “DETROIT UNDER S.T.R.E.S.S.”:
“In 1971, Detroit launches a secret police decoy unit to combat the explosive robbery and homicide rates. These officers find themselves in an impossible situation, trapped in a racially charged city, and are labeled judge, jury, and executioner.

After the first year of operations, Detroit becomes the city with the highest police-civilian fatal shootings and the highest police officer deaths. For the first time, hear the untold story of the Detroit Police Department’s STRESS unit.

Told by the STRESS officers, civil rights leaders, and historians who finally explain this complex story that laid the foundation for the law and order vs civil rights battle.

Stop the Robberies Enjoy Safe Streets.”
