Charlotte Murder Mystery Company returns to Statesville to present “Murder Most Green!” in conjunction with The Historic Sharpe House and Statesville Civic Center on Friday March 16, 2018. That evening The Sharpe House becomes Flaherty”s True Green Plant Nursery, the setting for the first part of the production. Guests will meet and greet at The Sharpe House and then will go next door to the Civic Center for dinner.
MURDER MOST GREEN
This special holiday murder mystery takes place in the City of Blarney in North Carolina. Your guests are invited to a St. Patrick’s Day dinner party to honor Patrick Flaherty, owner of Flaherty’s True Green Plant Nursery. When they arrive, they find out that Flaherty died the previous night after a get-together that celebrated the nursery’s centennial year. Instead of having a party, your guests will be attending his wake. The guests will become investigators and work with the Detective to figure out “WHODUNIT.”
Dinner will begin with an Irish Pub Salad. Guests will have an entree choice of traditional Irish Corned Beef, Pot Roast, or Baked Chicken (leg quarter). Each entree will be served with traditional Irish fare: steamed cabbage, Irish champ, and Irish peas. Dessert will be the Sharpe House’s famous bread pudding. Wine or sparkling grape juice will be available as well as sweet and unsweetened iced tea. Cost is $50 per person for
the dinner and show.
Please make your choice of entree when calling Keith for reservations.
Reservations must be made by Monday March 12 at 5:00 P.M.
This event will be a fundraiser for The Silas Alexander Sharpe Foundation.
