Tom Dooley BBQ @ The Historic Sharpe House
May 2 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

You are cordially invited to join us for an evening of southern hospitality, bbq, and bluegrass music by Wood Family Tradition. Dinner will include BBQ chicken and pork prepared by Port a Pit BBQ of Statesville. The BBQ will be served with homemade potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob and a bounty of homemade desserts by Crowning Events. Dinner will be served on the lawn at The Historic Sharpe House Wednesday May 2 thru Saturday May 5 from 6:00-7:30. Then those attending the performance can just stroll up to The Old Courthouse for “The Tom Dooley Project”. Reservations are required by Tuesday, May 1 by calling or texting Keith at 704-682-7508. Cost is $20 per person payable at the door. Proceeds to benefit the Silas Alexander Sharpe Foundation and the Historic Sharpe House, home of Statesville’s first mayor, who served his first term during the Dooley trial.
