Full Bloom Film Festival @ Downtown Statesville
Sep 13 – Sep 15 all-day

The fourth annual Full Bloom Film Festival will take place this year from September 13th through September 15th in and around Historic Downtown Statesville. FBFF is a 3-day film festival dedicated to bringing quality, diverse films from around the world. You will have the chance to walk down the red carpet for premiere events, attend panel discussions, and celebrate with filmmakers and VIP’s at parties all weekend! In addition to supporting independent filmmakers, FBFF aims to shed light on our local and global communities. Some films will make you laugh, some may make you cry–but either way, these films will stay with you long after they’re done.

To attend, simply pre-purchase a custom badge as a VIP, Festival Pass, Friday/Saturday Day Pass, or a single screening ticket. Or, swing by during the film festival and buy a single screening ticket at the door!

The Festival is organized by a committed group of area business leaders, film enthusiasts and volunteers. The Festival is a collaborative effort supported by:
-Iredell County Arts Council
-City of Statesville
-Iredell-Statesville Schools
-Mitchell Community College
-Statesville Chamber of Commerce
-Statesville Recreation and Parks Department

Fall Art Crawl @ Downtown Statesville
Sep 14 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The 2018 Downtown Statesville Fall Art Crawl is set for Friday, September 14 from 5:30–8:30 pm. The Art Crawl will showcase more than 40 artists in over 30 different galleries, shops, and businesses scattered throughout the heart of Downtown Statesville. It is self-guided and you can begin the Crawl at any location. Just look for the sidewalk markers indicating a participating business. A program/map directing attendees to all the locations and listing all participating artists will be available at each location.

The Art Crawl concept is simple – come downtown and walk from location to location, enjoy music, meet the artists and enjoy their work (maybe make a purchase), browse through the shops hosting the artists, and stay late for live music, food, and drinks at one of our many restaurants and bars.

The Art Crawl happens twice a year- Spring and Fall, and is a free event that offers a great time to be downtown, visit and shop local businesses, meet artists, and enjoy their work.
